Funeral services for Frances Marion "Sooky" Moody, 98, of Mt. Enterprise, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Bro. Lou Thomas of Tyler and Bro. Nick Gresham of Mt. Enterprise officiating. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson. Mrs. Moody was born November 15, 1912 to Homer and Victoria Rainbolt of the Concord Community in Rusk County. She made the journey to her Heavenly home March 17, 2011 from the Howeth House in Mt. Enterprise. Mrs. Moody was a member of the Concord United Methodist Church in Mt. Enterprise. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2011 at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by: husband, J. L. "Jack" Moody; parents, Homer and Victoria Rainbolt; sister, Corine Kindred; and brothers, Kleas, Clarence, and Homer Howell Rainbolt. Survivors include: nephew W.K. "Dub" Rainbolt and wife LeeAnn of Lafayette, LA; nieces-in-law, Donna Jo Newman of Mt. Enterprise, Laura Rainbolt of Center, and Jane Rainbolt of Denver, CO.; great-nieces, Brandi Jo Newman of San Antonio, Laura Jo Richardson of Jasper, and Vicky Rainbolt Klara of Lafayette, LA; great-nephews, John Walter Rainbolt of Palestine, David Rainbolt of Lafayette, LA, and William (Bill) Rainbolt of New Mexico; and many friends. Pallbearers will be David Rainbolt, John Walter Rainbolt, Caiden Rainbolt, Bill Rainbolt, Steve Ramsey, and Kirk Richardson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Phillip Elliott and Christine Johnson. The family would like to say a special thank you to the Howeth House of Mt. Enterprise, Henrietta Johnson, Demeka Lewis, and Heartsway Hospice for the special care given to Sooky. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Enterprise Library at P.O. Box 367, Mt. Enterprise, TX 75681. Condolences may be made at www.crawfordacrim.com.
