Bean Cemetery is a free cemetery, donated by Dr. B. F. Bean who believed that no one should have to pay for burials. It is located across the road from Kirbyville City Cemetery, on the east side of the road. Bean is the smaller of the two cemeteries.
NOTE: Google Maps and Acme Mapper 2.0 have misidentified the Bean Cemetery as being one large cemetery, but the E. E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville has confirmed the locations of both cemeteries.
