Simpson Of Texas City Burial Today Special to The News TEXAS CITY, Dec. 31—Funeral services for Link Wilson Simpson 60, resident of Texas City the past 12 years and operator of the Link Simpson Motor Co. who died Wednesday morning at his residence 223 10th avenue North, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at First Methodist Church. The Rev. J. E. McGaughy, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Galveston Memorial Park under direction of Emken-Linton funeral home. Mr. Simpson was a native of Nacogdoches. A member of First Methodist Church, he served on the board of stewards. He was a member of the Texas City Rotary Club, Masonic Bodies, and was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his widow, Mary; one son, Frank of Texas City; one daughter, Sister Mary Michael of Heinetta, N.J.; and one sister, Mrs. C. H. Campbell of Jasper.
